Color Vibe 5k

Before the fun...

Kaitlin and I ran in the Color Vibe 5k on November 2, 2013, in East Mesa.  It was the most fun!!  We didn't really know what to expect.  It was a beautiful day, we got covered in color throughout the run, and got doused with color at the end.  Good times with the sis!

Pumpkins 2013

I totally flaked this year and didn't get pictures of the kids dressed up for trick-or-treating, or the pumpkins after the kids carved them so excellently.  But here are the 'Halloween' pictures I did get...the annual carving of the Fernandez pumpkins.  We went to our wards Halloween party and trunk or treat in the church parking lot...we ate chili and played games, the kids trunk or treated and then Jacob and Sofia went trick-or-treating with their friends, Isabel went with her friend Lauren, and I went home...first time in however many years that I didn't take kids around the neighborhood.  Not sure how I felt about that.

This was the night these girls and I went to Jester'z Improv in Scottsdale.  I work with Jessica and Rachel.  We had such a great time.  Jesterz is so amazing and I've decided I need to go back and take my kids.  They would love it.  Just great comedy...great improv guys...so entertaining.  We have too much fun together, these girls and I.  We went for shakes and Chick-fil-A afterwards.

Sofia had her first choir concert for Kino Junior High in Oct.  She looked beautiful dressed up with pearls.  It is fun to watch her grow up...she's an amazing girl!
