My mom's bishop called me up a few weeks before Mother's Day and asked if I would come up to speak in her ward on Mother's Day. Eek. Not really. But I sure love my mom and couldn't say no to the opportunity to honor her. Drove up Saturday night, just me, and spent a great not quite 24 hours with my parents. Love them. And love the time away from kids! :)
