I am so loving shoes lately. I think I have my sister Kaitlin to thank for that. My girls and I had too much fun at TJ Maxx the other day just trying on sky high heels. Sofia has found she can almost fit into the smallest womens shoes, and had fun herself trying some on. I'd better not encourage the shoe obsession habit...but we had fun.

And these are my very own...found them at Payless (score!) and just love them.

One of my sweet students Kaci surprised me with this pin the other morning. Love these little treats that come with being a teacher. It's good to feel loved. This same student brought me a chocolate bunny today. Yum!

Mr. K's 2nd graders did state reports this year. Isabel's state was Colorado. I was able to pop over to her classroom to see her share her report. Such a cutie...and she did a great job. Definitely love having my kids at the same school where I teach. So convenient.

Easter 2011

picnic and fishing

While in Pinetop for Easter weekend we went on a picnic up to A-1 Lake. The kids wanted to go fishing so mom bought a permit and we fished also...the kids fished, mom untangled lines and I just pretended. We forgot jackets and it was windy and cold. We still managed to enjoy ourselves, ate good food and were unsuccessful at catching anything.
