dress-up circa 1960ish

This was Jenny's prom dress from 1992.
The girls had fun trying on some of Grandma's old dresses.  The sparkly pinkish/purplish one was one that my mom wore on a float in a parade when she was the Dairy Queen of Cache Valley.  All the other ones were hers or my aunts dresses from the 60s, I think.  Except for the medieval one, that must have been a costume for one of my sisters?

oldies

All of the pictures above are from my sister Kaitlin.  I think it was Christmas of 2010.  Good times to be had in P-town.
This was in the Fairfield house pre-divorce...must have been around  2006ish, and Kaitlin was visiting her nieces and nephew. These kids have grown like weeds!

Auntie K came to visit. 2006

dinner with pals

The best teacher ever, Karen Lesperance, left BBS this last year...and we finally all got together for dinner this past weekend. Krystal, Rachel and I are still teaching at the school. It was fun to get together again, and a yummy dinner out, away from kids, was a bonus.

girls night

Mom came down to spend the day with me for my birthday this year.  Since G and K live close by, we got together and went to dinner.  Yummy food and family...doesn't get much better.

Sofia's 11th.

Happy 11th birthday to Sofia!  She picked her birthday dinner to be at Golden Corral, we then went to get her ears pierced and then home to open presents.  She then had a birthday party the next day.  She invited her friends from school.  They were a bunch of clowns, (some of my former students...) but all seemed to have a great time playing games, eating cake, and hanging out.  Sofia is such a great girl.  Smart, kind, funny, helpful, selfless, creative and talented.
