Weaver's Needle Feb 20, 2017

Went on a hike with our friends, the Davis family on President's Day.  Absolutely love this hike.  The desert is gorgeous and especially this day. Recent rains had the creek running, everything was green and the views are never ending.

February 14, 2017 Jacob's pinky

Jacob sliced his pinky finger in October while carving pumpkins.  It was a pretty deep cut, but it healed well and didn't seem to be anything more than a cut.  Fast forward a few months and Jacob can't bend the tip of his pinky.  Turns out he cut a tendon.  Since we waited so long to get it checked, it will remain 'unfixed'.  I feel awful, but really, who knew?  One of the hardest thing about being a parent is deciding when a dr visit is necessary and when you can do without.  These pictures are from his visit to the orthopedic doctor.

January 15, 2016

Happy Sunday!

Saw this hanging in the hall outside Bishop's office.  Love that they finally etched Jacob's name onto the plaque.  I'm a proud Eagle Scout mama!

What a kid!

Happy 17 to Jacob!

Card from Grandma and Grandpa that Grandpa picked out.  He loved it.

Jacob turned 17 on the 10th.  It's crazy that I have a 17 year old.  Seriously crazy.  Time goes by too fast.  He had a great day.  I think.  Traditional doughnuts and OJ for breakfast, presents, dinner to his restaurant choice (Rubio's) and cake and ice cream.  He then spent the rest of the night with his friends at the skate park.  Sure love him and am proud of all the good he does.
Junior class picture from September 2016.

Rubio's. Good choice Jacob!  Yummo!
